pushing too hard

Wow. I have to say, that was hard to watch. The video itself was very well done, and to see these moments of terror, what I’d previously only read about, makes it that much more real to me. It’s funny how you can get so used to seeing this type of drama on TV, but when it’s your own friend, it feels like you’re seeing it for the first time.

No one likes to see a superhero-type falter. I guess this experience proved that you can’t treat your body like a superhero’s, even if that does tend to be your mindset. But you’re still a hero, to the African people, to your friends, to all of your supporters. And you definitely still are super, in every way.

I’m glad to hear you’re up and running again, my friend. Take care of yourself.

Yes the video was difficult to watch, but definitely demonstrates the determination Erin has to continue on. What a powerful determination and dedication you have Erin.

Anna what a responsibility and concern you would have to make as a nurse and sister. I can only imagine the decisions you and the Dr. have to make.

What a marvel to have the Dr. and her daughter there for physical and mental support. I’m sure the massages are more frequent as the runners continue their long journey.

Keep up with the videos Sid. You definitely have talent.

The clip was done so well done. Anna, you look so professional and the close up of blood pressure taking was particulary cool. I can only image how much of a nightmare it must have been for you and your team. Your heart must have been in your throat as you watched Erin being carried into the van knowing that you had to make some quick and difficult decisions. I very much admire you for your courage, apparently you missed your true calling of emergency medicine. I know you and your team have the strength and determination to see this thing to the end. Your vision is inspirational and it shows that it is possible to follow your dreams. Safe journeys, Lisa
